Attended Michigan State University and received a BA, in history with secondary certification. Decided to go back and get my elementary certification at Wayne State University and taught 4th grade in Madison district in Madison Heights, MI.

I taught elementary school (4th grade) for a short time and then I had children. When they were in school I subbed for a few years.

Jules and I were childhood sweethearts as they say and when he was 15 he had a pizza stand at the State Fair. I worked for him every summer from the time I was 14 until we had children. Then we gave it to his brother.

I also worked with my husband in the resale of merchandise for rock and roll groups and sports merchandise from 1967-2008.Our first main venues were wrestling and the Detroit Pistons at Cobo Hall. Not only did we do resale but buying of the merchandise as well. Our venues included Masonic Temple, Joe Louis Arena, Meadowbrook Theater, Fox Theater, Crisler Arena, the old Music Hall,Tiger Stadium, Fox Theater and University of Michigan in the Big House just to name a few. That in it self was a real education. We did merchandise for all the top rock stars, Tigers and Red Wings just to name a few. As our children got older they started working with us also. At first they helped in the stock room but graduated up to vendors very quickly responsible for their merchandise and money.

In 1984, with the kids in middle school I got a job as an investigator of verifying credentials for employment. After we were up and running my major expertise became criminal record checks. I worked for them for 20 years part time until retiring in 2004. That was such an interesting job. Now, I enjoy life with my family and friends. We winter in Florida for 4 months a year.
