So sorry 2 hear of Rube's passing, Larry was a good  person and a very talented. Gr8 painter, harmonica n guitar player, and most of all a one of a kind story teller. Very unique, he will be missed.

Larry and I were very good friends in high school. Larry was a student of ancient history and a collector of many artifacts. He and I would engage in marathon philosophical discussions on a variety of subjects. Larry was a brilliant and excessive character. What ever his interest.. he was 110% committed! His talents were boundless. Unfortunately, Larry became a recluse in later years and we lost touch. He was one of a kind and will be missed.

Larry was a good friend since elementary school. We roomed together in college. His knowledge of rare books and antiques was instilled by his father Sol. He worked in this field until his death in 2018. Myself and other friends and family had no idea of his passing until Kenny posted the information last week. We called his brother to confirm the date.
On a lighter note I choose to remember the good times on our motorcycles and the endless late nights we spent at Robin Hoods restaurant on Livernois. We would shoot the s___ till 2-3am with a large group of guys. His favorite game late nights was playing Flip Side of hit records. He never missed.
He took care of his mother until her passing 6 years ago. After that he slipped under the radar and was not heard from again by me.
I will always remember the good times and most of all The Bad Ass affect he projected at all times. The truth is that he was a sweet guy that would be there for you when needed. I will miss him.
