Ronnie amassed the most happy hours from Mr. Strepik of any other student. One day, we were performing some experiment and Ronnie, always a happy guy, started singing some melody. That was a big no-no in Mr.Strepik's class, and Ronnie was awarded a happy hour by the old curmudgeon. Well, five minutes later, Ronnie started whistling the same tune. Mr. S assigned another 2 happy hours. Not 10 minutes later guess who was humming the same tune and received 5 more happy hours? Yep, Ronnie.
Five minutes later, I started humming the same damn song, Ronnie and I got to do both chemistry experiments and happy hours together that year.
Ronnie was a buddy of mine at Bagley school. The kid had a 6 pack set of abs in the 5th grade! He was one of the only kids that could climb the monkey rope to the ceiling in the gym! I used to tell him: " Ronnie Steen, your on the beam!" He was a fun guy!
I will always remember that Ronnie was such a talker in our first grade class and got in so much trouble that the teacher paddled him. It scared and excited the hell out of me.
