I had the pleasure and honor of working with Leslie professionally the last three years. He took his work very seriously. He was client centered first, last and always. Everything he did was in his clients best interest. He made people feel as though he cared about them and their well being, which is why he had such a loyal following. He was in the financial services industry for 25 years. And, he always wanted the expand his practice, learn new things and grow. He was always eager and ready to learn things he thought would help his clients. We studied together, learned together and he had a positive impact on myself and everyone in our organization who's lives he touched.

leslie was an accomplished lead guitarist. He was a monster player, which us the highest compliment a musician can get. He took his music as seriously as he took his business practice and all of his relationships. Leslie Schwartz was the real definition of a mensch.

My life was enriched during the short time I knew him and I am so blessed that our paths crossed.

I am so very sad to see that Leslie has passed away.  I just signed up to this site and was looking for his profile. I saw Leslie  at the 30th reunion and met his soon to be wife.  I could not believe he had never married.  I was introduced to his fiancé as one of the Stansbury Girls.  Leslie and I were a couple many times throughout our Vernor years and Camp Tamarack.  He had the most beautiful eyes and at the 30th reunion he had this gorgeous white hair.  My heart still flutters when I think back on those wonderful years.
