She was a great teacher. After taking French for 2 years and having an awful teacher who actually cried in the classroom I switched to Spanish. She made it so easy and interesting. Saw her for many years until tight before she passed away. In the end her memory was not so good but I always talked to her anyway.

She was a pip! I remember how strange it was to take classes with her and then go back as a substitute Spanish teacher. Weird to be her 'equal'.
