Kenneth Bertin (1964)

One of the best individuals I ever met. He was my coach, my mentor and a true inspiration. I remember in a swimming class when he dove into the pool, clothes and all to pull a classmate from the bottom. What a guy!

Barry Olen (1965)

I remember his great tolerance. I couldn't run worth a damn and he actually let me run in a race., even though I could come near winning.

Coach Mullin was my basketball coach and I agree he was a great man who really cared about people and his athletes that he coached.

I remember Coach Mullin bringing in a TV to health class to watch John Glenn's space shot.  Oh, & also his paddle!

Coaches Mullin & Cairns coached the track team.  My senior year in track was great fun, even though one of our star sprinters was found to have been beyond his elegibility and we had to vacacte half our season.  But the character we built as individuals and a team cannot never be vacated.  Our class preceeded the State Champion teams from ~1960.  I last saw Stan Mullin at our 20th reunion.  He remarked at how the 63-64 class was "one of the really good ones."  RIP Coach
