I went to school with Steve from Kindergarten, at Schulze, through 12th grade at Mumford.  He was such a nice guy who knew how to laugh and have a good time. We were often seated next to each other (Koss/Leamy) and got in trouble for talking! It was great to see him 6 years years ago at our Schulze Class of '60 Reunion. You will truly be missed...especially by those beautiful grandchildren, that you adored, and the rest of your family. RIP Steve, but keep them laughing!

Koss was my best friend for almost 20 years, elementary school through college and then some.  Sober, drunk, high, through great times and tough times we were inseperable.  Never a bad word to say about anyone.  So sad to lose him.

I DID NOT KNOW STEVE IN HIGH SCHOOL BUT DID COME TO KNOW HIM WHEN HE WORKED AT BECKWITH EVANS CARPETS. I WAS THE ATTRONEY FOR BECKWITH EVANS AND INTERACTED WITH STEVE ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS ONLY TO FIND OUT HE  WAS ONE OF EIGHT HUNDRED WHO GRADUATED WITH US. STEVE WAS ALWAYS FUN AND EASY TO TALK TO ASIDE FROM BEING PERSONABLE. I ENJOYED SPEAKING TO HIM ABOUT OUR MUMFORD DAYS AFTER I LEARNED WE WERE BOTH GRADUATES. STEVE  WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

Steve Koss is strand of my life and will be remembered as one hell of a great guy.  I've missed seeing him all these years, but was warmed by knowing he was in the world.  This is a loss for all of us who treasure quiet greatness.

I was very sorry to hear about Steve Koss. We were classmates at both Schulz and Mumford. I remember him as a friendly individual with a really good sense of humor. Just recently we exchanged humorous comments about the state of our hair during the Covid 19 crisis. He obviously kept his sense of humor over the past 50+ years. I'll miss him.

I knew Steve from Schulze and Mumford. We belonged to the Esquires Jewish Center Club. He was a quiet soft spoken person with a great sense of humor. Rest In Peace my friend.
