Betsy was my best friend at Mumford. My father passed away in the ninth grade and her family became my family. I spent a lot of fun times with them. Betsy was as beautiful on the inside as out. I remember she loaned me a sweater for my senior picture. My middle child's name is Betsy Michelle. Always in my heat dear Betsy Mae.
My first two dates in HS were classmates of mine. After I only dated girls younger than I was. Betsy was one, I always wanted to date, but could not get up the courage to ask her out. She was a real doll.

Loved Betsy. Hard to believe she's gone. The world became a slightly darker place.
