James Stegman passed away on February 23, 2024 at his home in Virginia of complications of Cancer. Jimmy leaves his wife Cindy (Lukow), (Mumford Class of 1965), his son David and his wife and children. Jimmy was also the father of his late daughter Meredith.

Jimmy was an attorney. He retired recently and he and Cindy moved from the Detroit area to be near his son in Virginia.

He was very close friends during high school with Bob Rosen, Jeff Snyder, David Lipson, John Jacobs and Ken Bertin.
