I remember a very nice kindness that Nancy did for me when were were in 8th grade.
The English teacher, Miss Faucett (she was one of my better teachers) was collecting a nickel from each student for some project (which I don't remeber what it was).
I kept on forgetting to bring my nickel. So one day Nancy brought an extra nickel which she gave to the teacher on my behalf.
Nancy was so beautiful and sweet. She had it all, brains, personality, etc. When I first came to Hampton, she took me under her wing and showed me around and introduced me to her friends ( which were many)! I am so sorry for loss.
I knew Nancy from a distance. She was a standout in personality, appearance (beautiful), and popularity. Everything I recall from those years of Nancy was positive. She lived close to my best friend, Peter Verby. I'll ask Peter next time we speak what he recalls of Nancy. Probably much more than I. She was always busy and "up".
