Gary was a friend of mine in high school and actually photographed my wedding. We grew apart later in life due to him putting business ahead of our friendship(involving our daughter's Bat Mitzvah) and it ended our friendship. He was a very talented photographer, and very dedicated to his profession. My condolences to his family on his passing.

Gary and I were casual acquaintances in high school. We reconnected about 20 years ago when we engaged Gary to do the photography for our daughter's wedding. As is common knowledge, no one could take pictures like Gary R Miller. A couple years later Gary and I reconnected over my latent interest in horses. Gary was an avid horseman and was so so generous with his time and instruction, getting me into the sport. For a couple years we rode horses together several days per week and began to socialize as couples. I remember Gary as funny, a fierce defender of Judaism, and dogged in his pursuit of excellence. Although in recent years we drifted apart, I always had warm feelings for him and for those days. Greatly missed, and a huge loss for us all. May he   rest in peace.
