Absolutely loved the Radio Broadcasters Guild, it gave me my passion for communications as a degree!

I would have taken typing! My counselor said I would have a secretary to do my typing. Little did he know about computers.

Loved the Radio Broadcasters Guild! One day I was reading the credits and changed Neal Bruss's name (1965) to Steel Brute! Oops! That one even made the yearbook!

Lettered in Basketball and got the famous long sleeve when they added the stripes..you'd think they would take out an equal amount of yarn!

Went on to get a degree in Communications from U of D. After going through the "accelerated curriculum" at Mumford, college seemed really easy! I remember my counselor Mr. VanValkenberg telling me that I shouldn't take typing because I would always have a secretary! No one knew about computers then...boy do I regret not taking typing!

I thought I was going to be a TV Director but women were not really welcome in the booth unless they were bringing the men coffee in 1968! I went into advertising and had clients like Sun Control (remember them from the Tigers games?) who made me buy time in all the games, Ski-Doo, StarCraft popup trailers, Farmer Jack and Yankee Department Stores (there's a flashback!). Left advertising to help my Dad run his saw company. Married to Mike in 1968. Moved to Holland (MI) in 1978 from Royal Oak when GM transferred Mike to run the Data Processing at Diesel Equipment in GR. Loved raising our two kids on Lake Michigan where we still live. We started our software company in 1985 and are still working! Keeps the mind going!
