After graduating I went to EMU getting a teaching degree which I didn't use. After a brief stint in retail, I worked for the Michigan Dept. of Social Services for 12 years, finishing as a contract administrator with the Children & Youth Division. Went to work for Dale Carnegie, selling and training throughout SE Michigan and retired after 20 years. Having more time than money, I went back to work as a corporate trainer for Flagstar Bank, helping them win 2 JD Power awards for Customer Service. Since then I have been a Soft-Skills and Job Search trainer, coach & consultant. I have a 23 year old son living in Solana Beach, CA, doing medical device design for a start-up company. I have traveled to Tahiti, Hawaii, Montreal, both coasts and visited friends in Vegas, Toronto, Memphis and Boston. As nearly all of my family is in California, there is a good chance that retirement will lead me to the left coast.
