Attention Schulze Grads!

I have to turn in final numbers for our Reunion the evening of July 25th to Peabody's on Wednesday,  July 23rd. If you have not yet let me know if you are coming, I need to know by Wednesday at noon . We have classmates coming from all over to join in the fun!  Remember, if you have any pictures or artifacts to share that you have not sent me to put in the "Memory Book"  you can bring them with you on Friday!  I just found my autograph book and it's hilarious.

If you have questions or want to attend you can email me at smckanna@isdeducation.com or call my cell at 616-836-9210.

Hey I am an old Schulze friend - graduated in 1961 along with a bunch of people like Joel Isaacson, Stan Dishell, Danny Marks.  I committed myself to Rusty Rosenthals but would try to come there as well with my fiancee.  Where is Peabodys? (except on Rocky and his friends)?

Reunion only 4 days away.  I've enjoyed reading profiles of classmates, and seeing pictures of family like David Summer and more.  So I posted pictures on my profile, and suggest that you too read profiles and post pictures.  Think where we were 50 years ago when we graduated and where we are today.  For those out of town coming "home" travel safely.  Looking forward to seeing everyone

I have been reading the posts and notice that there is no pre party celebration for Bagley grads.  I am so excited to go to this special reunion and I feel like I am getting ready to go to Prom. I want to party before the big one Saturday evening...anyone know of a party from Bagley.  Looking forward to seeing so many people....

Larry Lipsitz (Now Lipson) (1965)

This is the first time that I have read through this message forum and am posting something here, although since joining the site over a month ago, I have been continually going through the classmate profiles and making an entry here and there.  Last night was a Vernor/Vandenberg reunion that I attended.  Now I finally see that there were, or are yet tonight, a few other "pre-party" reunions for other elementary schools from back in the day.  That is/has been a great idea.

I didn't know what to expect at the Vernor/Vandenberg reunion and, at first, only saw two or three people who I knew.  But . . . later in the evening was pleasantly surprised to locate and chat with several others, including  a couple of kids from my block and the DJ, an old friend with whom I used to play ball on the Vernor School ball field, Roman Franklin.  I look forward to seeing some of these same people again tomorrow night and catching up some more.  It has been a very long time.

You missed a fabulous Vernor reunion last night. In fact your name was brought up as we were talking. People wanted to know if anyone knew where you were. Marsha Gutov and I filled them in. We missed you. In fact , 6 of us went to lunch today and your name was brought up again.

Thank you Rusty for hosting the Bagley get together.  I got to see and even meet people from those wonderful days.  The hot fudge sundaes were worth the extra calories.  you are a lovely hostess and Emily, is a beautiful standard poodle who gave me lots of kisses.  Looking forward to rockin and rollin tonight!!!!

Greetings to everyone at the Mumford High School and Vernor Elementary School reunion from Indore, India.

Reunions are amazing times to connect with the past and think about the future.

I will be back in Michigan in November to visit family and friends and can be contacted there.

After that, I will be in Mount Shasta, California, my home base in the U.S.

Blessings to all,

Lewis ("Lee") Elbinger
