Don was pure class. His love of hockey was unstoppable. Until the end he talked of getting out on the ice and playing once he conquered the cancer monster! What a positive attitude!
Don was a good man and a good friend to me when we knew eachother in high school. He was always so relaxed, easy going and grounded. I will remember him always with great fondness.
I just found out about Don from the reunion site. We played a lot of hockey together and had to talk about the previous game, in detail, in between classes. He was a good person, totally authentic. We lost a good one.
Don was a great guy - I also played hockey with him back in the day at The Detroit Skate Club where many friends spent their Saturday nites- He will be missed!!!!!
